TAAnet Chairperson
Ms. Sophia Martin Komba is the Founder and Executive Director for Centre Against Gender Based Violence a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). In 2018 was elected as a Chairperson for Tanzania Network Against Alcohol Abuse (TAAnet) in Tanzania and currently is the Chairperson for East Africa Alcohol Policy Alliance (EAAPA) which is the five countries network in East Africa. She is a teacher and Gender Specialist by professional with higher education of Master’s degree in Gender Studies. As a Network Chairperson I am in frontline to make sure that TAAnet is conducting its advocacy to stakeholders and public to create awareness of harmful use of alcohol and its related effects.
Vice Chairperson
Marcela Francis Lungu, Vice Chairperson of TAAnet since 2020 to date. She is also a Gender Expert, Co- founder Executive Director Of TIBA and Founder of E-counseling and Green Recyclers Hub
She has BA in Counseling in Gender and social policy and MA in Social work ( Policy practice and Public health )
11years experience working on gender and development programs

Ms. Gladness Hemedi Munuo, who assumes the role of the Coordinator at Crisis Resolving Centre (CRC) since 2014, has a Masters degree in Public Health Leadership (Safe Motherhood Program) and undergraduate degree of Arts, General. She has working experience of more than 25 years in media and issues of GBV for women and Children. She is a coordinator for Crisis Resolving Center at Tanzania Media Women’s Association (TAMWA) from 2014 to date. She is a Secretary General of TAAnet since 2016 todate
